Members of the PMNCH Health-Care Professional Associations (HCPA) constituency actively work in the field of sexual, reproductive, maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health (SRMNCAH). They play a vital role in the delivery of SRMNCAH services in all settings while advocating for critical issues and challenges being faced in women’s, children’s and adolescents’ health (WCAH) on the front lines. PMNCH’s HCPA Constituency members have expertise along the entire continuum of care, and play a central role in delivering informed, practical and evidence-based leadership in healthcare delivery. This is done by brokering knowledge and providing education and training for quality, equity and dignity in health services for WCAH. HCPAs play a crucial role in promoting accountability and support cross-sectoral collaborations for safe, respectful and efficient healthcare services for WCAH. PMNCH HCPAs have established networks and relationships with other healthcare professional organizations at community, country, regional and global levels.
