PMNCH 20th anniversary

PMNCH 20th years

Celebrating 20 years of impact and progress for the health, rights, and well-being of women, children, and adolescents.

PMNCH has grown to become the world’s largest alliance working for the health and well-being of women, children and adolescents. From 80 members in 2005 to more than 1500 in 2025 across 131 countries and 10 constituencies, PMNCH has become a massive force for good with a unique ability to drive home coordinated, evidence-based messages for sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), maternal, newborn and child health (MNCH) and adolescent well-being (AWB). PMNCH has a long and successful history of affecting significant and sustained change by amplifying the voices of partners, from high-level champions to grassroots community members, and influencing government commitments – including policies, programmes and investments -for improved health outcomes.

Throughout the year, we’ll be celebrating PMNCH by showcasing some of its many accomplishments that have resulted in transformational change for those women, children and adolescents most in need of support.
