Governments and Intergovernmental Organizations
The Governments and Inter-Governmental Organizations Constituency unites national governments and regional bodies committed to improving the health and well-being of women, children, and adolescents (WCAH). Partner governments play a central role in driving policies, legislation, and investments that reduce preventable maternal, newborn, and child mortality, uphold sexual and reproductive health and rights, and promote adolescent health and well-being. Inter-governmental organizations (IGOs), including parliamentary unions and regional alliances, facilitate collaboration across nations to strengthen advocacy, policy coherence, and financial commitments for WCAH. By working together, this constituency ensures that health remains a political and financial priority at national, regional, and global levels.
