Biography

Anshu (she/her/hers) is public health practitioner with more than 21 years of work experience at the sub-national, national and global level on maternal, child and adolescent health and well-being issues. Trained in business management and public health, she joins the Partnership from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, where she developed and led the implementation of a multi-sectoral programme for one of the largest cohort of adolescent population in the world. Anshu also served as the Advisor, International Partnership to the Government of India.

At PMNCH she leads on Partner Engagement including political engagement and advocacy. Anshu is also responsible for PMNCH`s adolescent well-being workstream and leads the Call to Action for Adolescents.

Anshu is an Erasmus Mundus scholar. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in History and a Master’s in Business Management (Delhi University). She has a Master’s in Public Health from School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR), UK; MSc in International Health from Københavns Universitet, Denmark and Diplomas in Global Health from the Jagiellonian University and École des Hautes Etudes en Santé Publique (EHESP).
