Mary Ann Lumsden, International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO)

Mary Ann Lumsden became Chief Executive of the International Federation of Gynaecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) in January 2020. She is currently Honorary Professor of Gynaecology and Medical Education, having retired from the University of Glasgow where she was clinical lead of the Academic Unit of Reproductive and Maternal Medicine until March 2020. Past positions include Senior Vice President of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, Immediate Past President of the International Menopause Society and Vice Chair of the Women’s Health Expert Advisory Group to the Medicine and Hormones Regulatory Authority. She is an Officer of the Order of the British Empire.
