Mike Mbizvo is a Senior Associate and Country Director of the Population Council’s office in Zambia. He provides research, scientific and technical leadership in the Council’s mission areas. He works with government ministries, country missions, and multiple research and training stakeholders in Zambia, regionally and globally, to facilitate and support policies and programmes that advance sexual and reproductive health and rights, and HIV prevention and care, through generation and synthesis of evidence. Previously he was Director, Reproductive Health and Research, World Health Organization, and a professor at the University of Zimbabwe.
