Biography

Mr. Paul Darrel O. Meneses is a pharmacy student and upcoming professional pharmacist from the Adamson University College of Pharmacy, Philippines. He is a dedicated student advocate, a passionate youth volunteer, and a visionary leader engaged at local, national, and international levels. Paul's specialised focus on youth health governance reflects a commitment to impactful policy frameworks. As a member of the indigenous and LGBTQIA+ community, he takes pride in his identity, contributing a unique viewpoint to his advocacy initiatives. During the 2021–2023 mandate, Paul served as the Immediate Past Chairperson of External Relations and Advisory Board Member for the International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation (IPSF), playing a pivotal role in ensuring active participation and meaningful representation. He represented over 500,000 pharmacy and pharmaceutical science students, including recent graduates, at high-level events and assemblies convened by the World Health Organization (WHO) and numerous United Nations (UN) agencies and constituencies, such as the UN-MGCY, UN-ECOSOC, UN-DESA, UN-HLPF, and UNGA. The harmonious fusion of academic prowess, advocacy, and strategic leadership positions, Paul is an influential figure within the community. His vision revolves around advancing policies and research that pave the way for an inclusive, sustainable, and well-informed pharmacy and public health landscape.
