Sarah Bald

Sarah Bald is a member of the Political Advocacy team at PMNCH, supporting global, regional and country efforts to make women’s, children’s and adolescents’ health and rights a political priority. She leads coordination and technical support for country-led advocacy through the Collaborative Advocacy Action Plan initiative and contributes to the day-to-day coordination of the Global Leaders Network.

Sarah brings over nine years of global health experience spanning high-level political advocacy, community-based work, research, communications and program management, with roles across UNAIDS, USAID’s Global Health Supply Chain Program and mothers2mothers. She previously provided advocacy, communications and technical support to the Champions for an AIDS-Free Generation, a group of former African Heads of State chaired by the late President Festus Mogae. Sarah also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Botswana, where she delivered the national life skills curriculum to young people, promoting positive youth development.

Sarah holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Cape Town, specializing in Health Policy and Systems Research. Her research focused on dignity in health systems in sub-Saharan Africa.
