Dr Étienne Langlois is an epidemiologist specialized in maternal and child health, health systems research, knowledge translation and evidence synthesis. Trained in medicine, global health and epidemiology, he brings to PMNCH his experience in public health interventions and research, with a strong focus on evidence-based interventions to enhance women’s, children’s and adolescents’ health (WCAH) and equity.
For PMNCH, Étienne leads the Knowledge Synthesis team and manages the portfolio of work on WCAH evidence and knowledge, aiming to synthesize, translate and make accessible vital research and evidence on WCAH. He has published more than 40 scientific papers and edited several WHO publications, yet his proudest achievement is being a father of two wonderful children.
