2 February 2026
Expression of interest

Established in 2005, PMNCH is the world’s largest alliance for women’s, children’s and adolescents’ health and well-being, with over 1,200 partner organizations working together through diverse 6 constituency groups.  PMNCH is hosted by the World Health Organization, based in Geneva.

Our vision is a world where every woman, child, and adolescent (WCA) can realize their right to health and well-being; where no WCA dies of preventable causes; and where universal access to sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) is upheld.  Our mission is to foster and support global south-led, impact-oriented partnerships and multi-sectoral coalitions that, through accelerated action, advocacy and accountability, leverage transformative change in policies, financing, and services for WCA rights to health and wellbeing. The PMNCH 2026 – 2030 Strategy can be found here. The PMNCH Governance Manual can be accessed here.

PMNCH is now launching a Call for Nominations seeking a new Board Chair to commence in November 2026 for a three-year term (renewable once only). Previous chairs have included Heads of State and global statespersons with deep expertise and global standing on women's, children's and adolescents' health.
