GLOBAL STATUS REPORT ON PREVENTING VIOLENCE AGAINST CHILDREN 2020
The report provides a snapshot of countries’ progress toward global targets to end violence against children, charting advancement in 155 countries against the INSPIRE framework, a set of seven strategies for preventing and responding
to violence against children. The report signals a clear need for greater accountability to scale up efforts to implement those strategies. While nearly all countries — 88% — have key laws in place to protect children against
violence, less than half of countries — 47%) — said these were being strongly enforced. And whilst about 80% of countries have national plans of action and policies to prevent violence against children, only one-fifth of countries
have plans that are fully funded with measurable targets.

on their commitments to prioritize adolescent health and well-being. Following its launch in May 2017, five youth-led organizations (in Cameroon, India, Kenya, Malawi and Nigeria) received grants and technical support to pilot the toolkit
over a 12-month period. This advocacy brief describes the highlights, challenges and lessons learned in the five countries since the inception of the grantee project.

Global Strategy for Women's, Children's and Adolescents' Health Data Portal
THE GLOBAL STRATEGY FOR WOMEN'S, CHILDREN'S AND ADOLESCENTS' HEALTH DATA PORTAL
The Indicator and Monitoring Framework for the Global Strategy for Women’s, Children’s and Adolescents’ Health (2016-2030) lists 60 indicators, of which 16 are key. These indicators were selected to help countries and their
partners promote accountability in ending preventable deaths (“Survive”), ensuring health and well-being (“Thrive”), and expanding enabling environments so that all women, children and adolescents can reach their
potential (“Transform”), leaving no one behind. Whereas Global Strategy progress reports provide high-level data and information, the portal was created to provide details on country-level progress. The portal includes visualizations,
bar charts, trend lines and maps, information on which indicators lack data and the preferred sources for each indicator. The data can be downloaded.
