Generation Equality Forum

The Generation Equality Forum is a civil-society centered, global gathering for gender equality convened by UN Women and co-hosted by the governments of Mexico and France. Kicking off in Mexico City, Mexico virtually March 29-31, 2021 and culminating in Paris, France virtually June 30-July 2, 2021 (Paris dates officially announced this morning), the Forum will launch a series of concrete, ambitious and transformative actions to achieve immediate and irreversible progress towards gender equality. Here are two ways your organizations can engage:

• Register and virtually attend the Mexico City portion of the Generation Equality Forum taking place at the end of this month, March 29-31, 2021. Registration is now open and can be accessed via this platform. 
  
• Apply as a Member/Commitment Maker to the six Generation Equality Forum Action Coalitions. Applications can be submitted via this platform. Registration is open now thru June 2021 and applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Please note: the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is not a decision-maker of applications and we are sharing for awareness only. The six Action Coalitions include:
  • Gender-Based Violence
  • Economic Justice & Rights
  • Bodily Autonomy & Sexual and Reproductive Health & Rights
  • Feminist Action for Climate Justice
  • Technology & Innovation for Gender Equality
  • Feminist Movements & Leadership​
