Safe: Preventing gender-based violence in and through schools

On June 17th at 12pm EST, TfG and partners will convene a group of leaders, survivors, and youth activists for a virtual event, Safe: Preventing Gender-Based Violence in and Through Schools. The event will highlight the latest data and evidence on violence in school settings, but also how schools can serve as protective spaces for children, acting as an important arena for broader social change and to end violence both in and out of schools. Given the COVID-19 pandemic context, the discussion will focus on how we can all work to build back better education systems and ensure access to safe learning environments for all children and adolescents.
