COP26 Climate Action for Health

We’re very pleased to invite you to the COP26 Climate Action for Health event, the high level event of the COP26 Health Programme on the main Presidency programme. If you are already a blue zone delegate with accreditation to attend on 9 November, please do join us in person in Action Room 1 in the Hydro Centre.

Climate change is the greatest threat to global public health and wellbeing in the 21st century. This session brings together leaders from governments, the health sector and climate change to set out the health arguments for ambitious global action on climate change. It will demonstrate the global health sector’s commitment to building climate resilient and sustainable health systems and highlight the leadership role of health through the trusted voices of health professionals. The event will include the announcement on country commitments to building climate resilient and sustainable low carbon health systems.
