Global Forum for Children and Youth

Together with the Governments of Botswana and Sweden, UNICEF is hosting the first Global Forum for Children and Youth from 7 to 9 December 2021. This Forum aims to become the most authoritative annual event and platform that will focus the world’s attention on the rights and urgent needs of children and young people and make bold policy and financial commitments. It will convene children and young people alongside leaders in government, business, philanthropy, international financial institutions, the United Nations and civil society on:

• Evidence – Focusing the world’s attention on the most urgent needs of children and young people
• Solutions – Identifying and celebrating proven and new solutions to address these needs
• Commitments – Taking action and making bold financial, policy and advocacy commitments to scale up solutions globally, thus advancing child rights and meet the Sustainable Development Goals
