Adolescent SRH Training - Unlimited Hope Alliance

15 December 2021

By Unlimited Hope Alliance

Unlimited Hope Alliance implements tailor-made programmes for young girls and women to address their unmet socio-economic and health needs. Its programmatic pillar on health seeks to empower adolescence girls and young women in marginalised communities to make informed choices on among other things their Sexual and Reproductive Health and advocate for an enabling SRH environment which sustains the progressive realization of positive outcomes. Unlimited Hope Alliance recognises the plight of girls in rural and other resource limited communities who have long been at a disadvantage compared to those in the urban areas and other developed communities. The young girls have faced so many gender inequalities. As a stepping stone towards addressing the challenges being faced by adolescence and young women in marginalised communities Unlimited Hope Alliance will be having a 3 day capacity building programme on enhancing the knowledge and leadership capacities of adolescent girls  mid December 2021.Unlimited Hope Alliance seek to to start by training a cohort of 50 adolescence girls who shall be the young community champions towards disseminating information on SRH specifically menstruation and unplanned teen pregnancies. Through this training, UHA seeks to develop and promote young girls to attain information on their SRH issues.
