First Latin American Congress for Perinatal Death, Bereavement and Prevention

This event has the participation and collaboration of prestigious specialists in the field such as Dr. Marta Cohen, Argentine pediatric pathologist, resident in the United Kingdom, professor at the University of Sheffield Hospital and the Clr. Jessica Ruidiaz, Counselor Specialist in perinatal grief and post-loss pregnancy, among others.

It will include academic, scientific and sociocultural content that will serve as a framework for learning, the exchange of ideas and the development of collaboration opportunities for all attendees. This Congress will be attended by high-level scientific speakers and support groups for parents and families who have gone through this problem.

The goal is to hold a Specialized Congress on prevention and attention to perinatal pain, which will be held every two years IN and FOR Latin America, which will allow us to bring together the main actors involved in the subject, in order to share experiences and research with the most updated information available.

To close it, a joint document of the conference will be prepared among the participating organizations, for its dissemination among international organizations, health professionals and parent organizations.
