Welcome to Policy Advocacy 101 – a beginning-level, introductory seminar for individuals who want to learn more about the basics of policy advocacy! This workshop will help individuals understand the definition of policy advocacy, identify the different types of policy change, and differentiate policy advocacy from other related concepts. Led by Senior Advocacy Manager, Kim Whipkey, this 90-minute session will help participants deepen their knowledge of policy advocacy and how they can apply it to their own projects and contexts.

We will be organizing another session in 2023 designed for more advanced advocates, with a specific focus on SMART advocacy practices.
