In 2023 and 2024, UN Women, in collaboration with adolescent girls, youth and adolescent organizations, and other UN Agencies, will convene a series of Adolescent Girl Leadership Town Halls, allowing gender-diverse adolescents, 19 years and under, the opportunity to share their visions, approaches, and messages for meaningful engagement within intergovernmental spaces.
The CSW67 Adolescent Girl Leadership Town Hall will focus on girls and gender-diverse adolescents recommendations towards the priority theme of CSW67, advocating for: digital equity to close the gender digital divide, gender-responsive digital and science and technology education in the digital age, prevention and elimination of technology-facilitated gender-based violence, and the protection of the rights of women and girls online including fairness, transparency, and accountability. Adolescent girl leaders will present concrete recommendations on issues and priorities that they feel are missing in the CSW Agreed Conclusions.
