The Community of Practice for MHPSS for Children and Families in Emergencies will be hosting a roundtable webinar on Climate Change & MHPSS: What are the key issues affecting children and families? In this session, we will hear the experiences of three different speakers around the topic.
The MHPSS Collaborative and MHPSS.net is organizing a webinar on climate change and mental health for children and families tomorrow (27th June, 3PM CET), which will last for around an hour. There will be a 20min panel discussion followed by a Q&A on key issues affecting children and families, promising intervention practices and gaps in the response. The webinar is mostly targeting MHPSS professionals, many of which will be working in settings affected by climate change but who may not have considered the impact of climate/environmental issues in their current programming or have questions on how to address these.
Giulia Gasparri, PMNCH Project Officer, will be speaking at the event.
