ICPD Regional Youth Dialogues and Global Townhall - Africa

Join us for an exciting opportunity to participate in three regional youth dialogues - Africa, Latin America & Caribbean, Asia Pacific! These dialogues, facilitated by MGCY and the ICPD Youth Platform, aim to connect young advocates and activists in support of the  International Conference on Population and Development - ICPD Programme of Action.

As we approach ICPD+30 next year, we invite young people like you to come together and share your urgent and emerging priorities, reflections, and calls to action for ICPD. dialogues will discuss the progress that has been made and how it's impacting communities on the ground and explore the challenges we face in the fight for sexual and reproductive health, rights, and justice.

These dialogues will serve as a catalyst for collective mobilization and people-centered development. Led by young people and anchored in our real-life experiences and aspirations for a better future, we will engage in collective learning, foster accountability, and build a strong movement, towards our aim of articulating and amplifying our demands and call to action for ICPD+30, the UN Summit of the Future, and beyond.

We will be organising a series of regional dialogues, followed by a global townhall during August 2023. In the Latin America and the Caribbean regional dialogue interpretation will be available in English and Portuguese. Interpretations available in Spanish and French may be available for the global dialogue on 25th August 2023.

- Africa: 13 August, 2.00 PM GMT

- Latin America and the Caribbean: 17 August, 9.00 PM GMT (4.00 PM Lima/Panama time)

ICPD+30 Diálogos Regionales y Consulta Global

¡Únete a nosotros para una oportunidad emocionante de participar en tres diálogos juveniles regionales rumbo a la ICPD+30: África, América Latina y el Caribe, Asia Pacífico! Estos diálogos, son facilitados por MGCY y la Plataforma de Jóvenes de la CIPD, y tienen como objetivo conectar a jóvenes defensores y activistas en apoyo del Programa de Acción de la Conferencia Internacional del Población y Desarrollo - CIPD.

A medida que nos acercamos a la CIPD+30 el próximo año, invitamos las juventudes  a unirse y compartir sus prioridades, reflexiones y llamados a la acción urgentes y emergentes para la CIPD. Los diálogos discutirán el progreso que se ha logrado y cómo está impactando a las comunidades en el terreno y explorarán los desafíos que enfrentamos en la lucha por la salud, los derechos y la justicia sexual y reproductiva.

Estos diálogos servirán como catalizador para la movilización colectiva y el desarrollo centrado en las personas. Dirigidos por jóvenes y anclados en nuestras experiencias de la vida real y aspiraciones de un futuro mejor, participaremos en el aprendizaje colectivo, fomentaremos la rendición de cuentas y construiremos un movimiento fuerte, hacia nuestro objetivo de articular y ampliar nuestras demandas y llamamiento a la acción para la CIPD +30, la Cumbre del Futuro de la ONU, y más allá.

Organizaremos una serie de diálogos regionales, seguidos de una Consulta Global durante agosto de 2023. Para la sesión regional de América Latina y el Caribe se contará con interpretación en Inglés y Portugués.  La sesión global contará con interpretaciones en español y francés.
