The Zimbabwe Conference on Young People's Health, Rights and Wellbeing will be a National Event-themed event that will engage stakeholders in dialogue with young people to improve accountability. Panel discussions will be held with key actors, such as government entities, UN agencies, CSOs, and young people, to ensure accountability and clarify efforts to enhance youth health and well-being. Performance sessions will recreate key trends, challenges, and opportunities for implementing youth-friendly initiatives and ensuring accountability through a youth-centric approach. Young people will have the opportunity to express their needs and priorities through spoken word and theatre sessions. Group discussions will be conducted in a constructed manner, with a webinar for young people to draft questions and have responsible parties respond to them. Legal and policy experts will also be engaged to ensure effective youth initiatives are designed to promote inclusion in policy implementation. Discussions will also address ways in which a legally binding instrument can ensure accountability and justice for young people.
