This event will be part of a cross-conference, cross-pavilion series, co-hosted by the YOUNGO Health Working Group and the Children, Cities and Climate Action Lab at London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. This series features three co-design workshops (beginning at COY18, and occurring asynchronously at COP28’s Health Pavilion and Children & Youth (C&Y) pavilion) facilitated by YLabs, a partner of the CCC Action Lab. The second and third workshops will occur asynchronously at the health and C&Y pavilions to encourage cross-pavilion migration of stakeholders and continued engagement with the theme: co-designing healthier, more sustainable urban futures for young people. The asynchronous co-design workshops will contain unique co-design activities that are relevant to all stakeholder groups interested in the nexus of children’s health, sustainable cities, and climate change including youth climate activists, members of the health community, urban planners, etc.). These workshops will enable stakeholders to co-design an agenda for improving urban health and sustainability for young people.
