ICPD commitment acceleration in Ethiopia

Cognizant of different National,Regional and Global commitment the GOE-MOH makes ongoing remarkable efforts to provide quality healthcare to its population, and is committed to promote improved health outcomes for women, newborns, children, adolescents and youths. In response to the current situation, MOH is collaborating with the Partnership for Maternal Newborn and Child Health (PMNCH) to drive accountability for commitments for women, children and adolescents’ health and well-being (WCAH). This collaboration will prioritize the implementation of existing commitments while also promoting efforts to mobilize new or additional commitments aligned with national priorities.

Ethiopia has prioritized the ICPD commitments and has undertaken a review of progress in the implementation of these commitments, the progress review helped identify areas where more focus in implementation is required and to agree on how this might be achieved collaboratively with local and international development partners.

To this end, MOH MCAH LEO invites you to the consultative workshop on ICPD commitment acceleration. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 in Sky Light Hotel starts at 8:30 am.
