You are invited to a research dissemination webinar hosted by EQUAL, a multi-country research consortium focusing on maternal and newborn health in conflict-affected settings. The webinar, titled “Ending Preventable Deaths: Prioritization of Maternal and Newborn Health in Conflict-Affected Contexts” will take place on Tuesday, March 19 at 8:30 AM ET | 12:30 PM GMT | 3:30 PM EAT.

This 90-minute session will share insights from recent Political Economy Analyses conducted in DRC, Nigeria, Somalia, and South Sudan, exploring political, economic, and health system factors influencing MNH policymaking, programming, and financing in each context while also delving into the impact of crisis and conflict on prioritization.

The event is co-hosted by EQUAL, the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), and the Interagency Working Group on Reproductive Health in Crises (IAWG).  Meena Gandhi, Senior Health Adviser at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), will moderate the webinar and lead a dynamic discussion with the panelists.
