How can local evidence, professional/tacit knowledge, programme/policy descriptions and evaluations be used for health decision-making?
To use the information in such ‘unconventional’ source materials in evidence syntheses or other decision support products, we need to assess their limitations and strengths.
This webinar will describe the Assessing unConventional Evidence (ACE) tool – a new tool to assess the strengths and limitations of these source materials. The discussion will address how this tool can support evidence-informed decision-making, with a focus on strengthening health systems in low- and middle-income countries.
