Digital technologies have completely transformed how we live, with many benefits - whether it is the ability to mobilise for protest, or connect with other minoritised groups - but also harms that impact the human rights of children and young people across the world.
With change happening so quickly, young activists, civil society, multilateral partners and experts must come together to create a global community for change in the digital sphere, informed by the voices of children and young people, to imagine a world where digital technologies are safe, supportive spaces for children and young people to enjoy their health and wellbeing and realise their human rights. We will kick this off at a Global Youth Summit on Digital Rights taking place online and in Buenos Aires on 13-15 April 2024.
