Hormonal IUD COF Webinar

The Catalytic Opportunity Fund (COF) is hosting a webinar series to share out learnings from COF-funded projects and to provide a forum for stakeholders to engage in a meaningful dialogue as it relates to reproductive health product introduction.

Center for Communication and Social Impact’s (CCSI) COF project in Nigeria supported Hormonal IUD scale up through community engagement and mass media approaches to generate demand across states with H-IUD trained service providers. 

EngenderHealth’s COF project in Kenya increased awareness of and access to H-IUD and DMPA-SC through strengthening capacity of country-level H-IUD and DMPA-SC trainers in public and private not-for-profit/NGO institutions. The project enhanced readiness of public sector health facilities to offer H-IUD and DMPA-SC as part of expanded method choice and increased level of awareness and demand for high-quality H-IUD and DMPA-SC information and services.
