Breakthrough ACTION, alongside Agency for All and the Young & Alive Initiative, is pleased to invite you to our upcoming virtual global dissemination webinar on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, from 7:30–8:30 a.m. ET.
In response to the limited inclusion of sexual and gender minority (SGM) people and other people with diverse sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, and sex characteristics (SOGIESC) in global health, including family planning and sexual and reproductive health (FP/SRH), Agency for All, Breakthrough ACTION, and the Young & Alive Initiative developed resources to guide researchers, program implementers, and others as they consider how to be more inclusive of SOGIESC diversity and SGM people in FP/SRH research, programs, and services, implemented in lower- and middle-income countries (LMICs). As the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) recommits itself to affirming and responding to the lived experiences of SGM and SOGIESC-diverse people around the world and embraces an inclusive development approach (USAID LGBTQI+ Inclusive Development Policy - August 2023), these resources can be applied to advancing inclusion and equity for these underrepresented and underserved groups. This global dissemination webinar will showcase these resources and invite participants to ask about their development, use, and application across diverse LMIC contexts.
Whether you represent a donor or funder or are a researcher or practitioner, this webinar is for you!
We hope to see you there and appreciate your support in promoting more inclusive programming and research.
