The Empowering Adolescents and Young People Forum is a dynamic platform aimed at addressing the needs and aspirations of adolescents and young people in Liberia. Aligned with the principles of the International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD) at 30, this forum seeks to empower youth, uphold their rights, and create opportunities for their holistic development. Through engaging discussions, skill-building workshops, and interactive sessions, the forum aims to catalyze positive change and foster a supportive environment for the next generation of leaders.

Objectives:
1. To amplify the voices of adolescents and young people in Liberia, ensuring their perspectives are heard and respected in decision-making processes.

The forum is open to adolescents and young people aged 12-30 from across Liberia, representing diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. Additionally, stakeholders including government representatives, civil society organizations, development partners, educators, and the private sector are invited to participate and contribute to the discussions.
The forum is organized by Big Sisters Organization, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, with support from PMNCH, UNFPA, and WHO.
The AYPs Forum serves as a rallying cry for youth empowerment and collective action. By coming together to exchange ideas, share experiences, and co-create solutions, we can build a brighter future for all young people in Liberia. Together, let us fulfill the vision of the ICPD at 30 and empower youth to realize their full potential as agents of change and progress.
