Child Survival Action Results Framework: Driving advocacy and action at global and country levels for young children

22 January 2025 15:00 – 16:00 CET

Child Survival Action (CSA) aims to eliminate preventable child deaths and accelerate progress in countries off track to meet the Sustainable Development Goal 2030 under-five mortality target. But how can countries track their progress and use data to advocate for action?

Please join us for a webinar on the CSA global results and accountability framework. Built on and aligned with existing global initiatives and guidance, the framework includes global impact indicators (under-five mortality, mortality in the 1–59-month period, prevalence of wasting and stunting, etc.) and intervention coverage indicators (immunization, nutrition, and illness management practices). It also includes approaches to examine equity as a key outcome, recommendations for quality of care indicators, and implementation milestones.

We’ll provide an overview of the framework and how it can help stakeholders plan and adjust child survival strategies and mobilize resources and discuss upcoming efforts to enhance the results framework. Panelists from Sierra Leone will present their experiences in developing and using a results framework for child survival.

Please register in order to access the meeting connection information and add the webinar to your personal calendar. This event will have a live French translation.
