Watch the recording
PMNCH’s 13th annual Accountability Breakfast comes at a time when progress is slowing, political will is fragile, and misinformation is rising. While the last 20 years have proven what’s possible - from dramatic declines in maternal and child mortality to policy wins for reproductive health, and the health and well-being of adolescents has begun to command the attention it deserves. Yet, now we face sharp funding cuts for evidence-based interventions and ensuring rights for women, children and adolescents are protected, mis-information and push-back on rights and social justice, and a deep fragmentation of global solidarity.
This is not a time to “meet and repeat.” This is a time to reset the narrative and challenge our sector to work differently - bringing in leaders from communities, climate, technology, education, justice, and the private sector alongside health experts, and lead with courage and urgency.
The event will take stock of progress; gaps and challenges that remain and recentre accountability for women’s, children’s and adolescents’ health everywhere. The event will also unveil PMNCH’s new Strategy 2026–2030: Partnership for Change: Promoting and protecting women’s, children’s, and adolescents’ health in a fragmented world, framing it not only as a health agenda, but as a movement for power, rights, and equity - and positioning PMNCH as the go-to platform for collective action and accountability in a fractured world. Through bold partnerships and collective action, we aim to drive progress, close gaps, and ensure that every life has the opportunity to thrive.
