What is the link between maternal health and NCDs? Why is it important to address? And how do we do it? We are excited to announce our first-ever UNGA side-event focusing on integrating maternal health and NCDs in low- and middle-income countries!

Join us for a high-level panel discussion on the progress made in integrating maternal health and health promotion with strategies addressing NCDs. It will focus on specific, high-burden examples and include case presentations from low- and middle-income countries. Hosted in conjunction of the 4th high level meeting on NCDs and the 80th UN General Assembly in New York, the event will bring together global leaders, to analyze the critical intersection of maternal health and non-communicable diseases. We will analyze the bi-directional relationship between NCDs and maternal health, discuss integrated service delivery models, showcase real-world country-led innovations, and identify enablers and barriers to further integration from health system, multisectoral, and gender equity perspectives.

Register today to join us either in person or on-line for an engaging discussion showcasing evidence and highlighting country cases exploring pathways for integrated service delivery affecting present and future generations.
