The Global Leaders Network for Women’s, Children’s and Adolescents’ Health - World Bank–IMF Spring Meetings Session

Co-hosted by the Global Leaders' Network, the Women’s Health and Empowerment Network (WHEN) and the Centre for Global Health Development (CGHD) 

The Spring Meetings convening represents the first in-person strategic convening following the GLN Domestic Resource Mobilisation Webinar Series, which has engaged governments in identifying key health financing priorities and constraints. 

The Spring Meetings convening serves as the baseline session for the Financial Diplomacy Series and is intentionally finance-forward. It will connect GLN finance ministries with potential financing partners, with the primary purpose of translating each country’s priority into a structured financing problem that can be solved and to outline the initial design of a mechanism that aligns national objectives with feasible instruments and realistic risk- sharing. 

The platform operates on a principle of co-design: financing structures are developed among stakeholders based on country-specific contexts, constraints, and ambitions.
