
The World Health Summit (WHS) Regional Meeting 2026 will be held from April 27–29 at the United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON).
This will mark the second time the meeting is held in East Africa and only the second on the African continent, underscoring the region’s growing role in shaping the global health agenda.
This unique gathering presents a high-level platform to foster connections, share innovative ideas, and collaborate on solutions to some of the most urgent health challenges worldwide. Participants will include heads of state and government, cabinet secretaries, private sector leaders, executives of international organizations, scientists, healthcare professionals, civil society, individuals with lived experiences, young professionals, and students.
The WHS Regional Meeting 2026 will not only spotlight Africa’s health priorities but also contribute to advancing inclusive, evidence-based, and globally relevant solutions for healthier societies.
