The following guidance document highlights how the pandemic has aggravated preexisting gender inequalities that women and girls face in humanitarian settings and the impact of COVID-19 on other various aspects of their lives including health, livelihoods, protection, shelter, nutrition, education, and sanitation. It also puts forward a number of action points to ensure the integration of gender into response plans.
