More than half a million children under five in Burkina Faso are acutely malnourished – UNICEF

Overview

The pandemic has further impeded the access of people living in conflict zones to basic needs and increased their food insecurity. This document calls upon parliamentarians, local authorities and the international community to intensify efforts in order to ensure the continuation of nutrition services. It also highlights UNICEF's efforts in supporting local authorities in mitigating food insecurity.
