Prioritizing essential packages of health services in six countries in sub-Saharan Africa

Overview

This document is the result of a collaborative effort. The Swedish International Development Corporation Agency, Sida, funded and coordinated this work which was carried out by Jesper Sundewall, Sida Consultant and Eoghan Brady, the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) in partnership with the ministries of health of Eswatini, Ethiopia, Malawi, Nigeria, Rwanda, and South Africa.

The publication of this work was coordinated by Miriam Lewis Sabin and Yajna Moloo, under the direction of Helga Fogstad, Partnership for Maternal, Newborn & Child Health. Significant inputs were provided by Veloshnee Govender and Lianne Gonsalves, World Health Organization, Geneva. The document was edited by Joanne McManus and copy edited by Anna Rayne.
