To mark the 2024 16 Days of Activism, the Beijing+30 Youth Steering Committee in partnership with 30 for 2030 Network and UN Women is organizing an online event for youths globally who want to learn how they can take action against Online Gender-Based Violence (OGBV). The event is a call to action for global solidarity in addressing Online and Tech Facilitated Gender Based Violence and advancing gender equality. This event will spotlight the Youth Guide to End Online Gender-Based Violence, designed by 30 for 2030 Network and UN Women Asia and the Pacific. We will conduct a deep dive into the toolkit sections and invite participants to share their thoughts and experiences. The event reinforces the 16 Days of Activisim’s broader mission of eradicating violence in all its forms and ensuring gender equality across all facets of society, including the digital sphere.
