Humanitarian and fragile settings

Decades of progress in women’s, children’s and adolescents’ health and wellbeing are now under threat of reversal due to the toxic combination of COVID-19, conflict and climate change in humanitarian and fragile settings. Protection and acceleration of progress through a partner-centric approach is needed more than ever. PMNCH has produced a toolkit on ‘Women’s, children’s and adolescents' health in humanitarian and fragile settings during the COVID-19 pandemic’ as part of its Toolkits Series on COVID-19 and Women, Children and Adolescent Health. The toolkit aims to provide access to relevant resources (advocacy, multi-media, guidance, contextualised) with the goal of supporting various stakeholders to prioritize and address the health and well-being challenges of the most vulnerable women, children and adolescents in debates and policies, and to ensure visibility of WCAH within prevention, response and recovery plans for COVID-19.

Disclaimer: In line with PMNCH’s COVID-19 publication policy, only resources that align with WHO guidelines and recommendations are included in the toolkit.
